WHO'S WHO IN THE CAST
BARBARA ACKERMAN has performed for six years in The FLOW Follies. She's tap, tap, taping away and "loving" her Jazz dancing as well. Barbara's daughters, a '99 graduate of IHHS, and a sophomore at IHHS are inspirational and she thanks them for their hot "dance tips"! Keep on dancing Barb!
STEVE BEIGEL is back for his 3rd exciting year. His family gave him permission to join the cast now that the kids are out of school and won't be embarrassed. Steve loves clowning around, tennis and, of course, juggling.
ROBIN BYRNE is in her 3rd FLOW Follies! She loves the fact that husband Brian, daughter Carolyn and son Chris cheer her on! Her two amigos, Maureen and Pam are in all her LOVE numbers this year! We Farmerettes will give those Rockettes a run for their money!
ANITA BYRNES makes her FLOW Follies debut this year. Her favorite number is "Guys and Dolls". She has a son Matthew at IHHS. Anita enjoys meeting so many nice people who give so much. She is having a great time meeting so many wonderful CAST members who have made her feel so welcome!
PAUL CELAURO, returning to FLOW Follies after a 3-year hiatus, has jumped right back in with his baritone voice and dancing talents. He and his wife Dottie, residents of Oakland for 18 years, are the parents of Ken (IHHS Class '98) and Kyle (10th grade). Paul enjoys the FLOW Follies because it affords the opportunity to form new friendships while having a great time and supporting the scholarship fund.
LORI DEL BUONO, performing in her 5th Follies, is happy to have her son Mark helping with sets and seeing the FLOW Follies live for the first time. She also enjoys seeing the faces of her Heights 2nd graders in the audience and dedicates this show to her husband John and family and friends who support the show. "
BARBRO ARNEBORN-DE VICTORIA is an original! She can't believe that she has been in the Follies 14 years! Her favorite number is the black light number "I Love A Rainy Night". Barbro really enjoys meeting old friends and making new ones.
RUDY DUJNIC has been participating in Flow Follies since 1991 as a member of the backstage crew and cast as well as a producer for the '98, '99 and 2000 shows. Rudy enjoys working with old friends and making new ones each year. He is having a ball "Doing a Show and Doing it Right!" " Break a leg Cast and Crew!"
ROSE DUJNIC has participated in the Follies for 10 years! "It's exciting to be onstage again and also to be tap dancing!" Rudy and Rose have four children: Matthew, Kathleen, and Teresa are graduates of Indian Hills, where Daniel is a senior. "Thanks guys for your support!"
BILL GALITSIS returns to the Follies for his 3rd year. He is a bass baritone, a bit of a ham and loves to perform (but refuses to put on a tu tu). Bill especially wants to thank his loving wife, Bronna, for all her support and coaching. He also dedicates the show to their three grandchildren, Taylor, Jason and Arianna.
MARYANN HAIGHT has Freshman and Sophomore at IHHS. Maryann's says that it is good to be on stage again with her first year with the Follies. Maryann loves to dance and sing and have "Fun, Fun Fun, that's the FLOW Follies!"
LINDA HEBERLING has been "GLIDING" through 11 FLOW Follies. She has a freshman, Jacob, at Indian Hills. Her other children, Wendy (IHHS '92), and Alex (IHHS '91) return every year to watch Mom dancing away!
JANE KOCH is returning to FLOW Follies for her 4th year. Her favorite number is still Yellow Polka Dot Bikini from the 1998 show. She'll continue to keep joining the show because the cast is always so much fun to be with.
MAUREEN LAMBRIX is appearing in her 6th FLOW Follies and is working for the 4th year as a producer.
She misses and sends love to her husband, Tom, who could not participate in the show this year. Their sons attend Ramapo HS where Stephen is a senior and Michael is a junior. Christopher graduated in '98.
ELAINE LEDERMAN is making her FLOW Follies debut and has enjoyed every moment of working together for a Really Great Show! She wishes to thank the cast and crew for their warm welcome, fellowship, and help. Elaine sends her love to family and friends.
CARMEN LE VON is performing in her 9th Follies. Her favorite numbers are the "Love Gets Me Everytime" and Love Potion #9". She would like to thank Annette, the producers, the cast and crew and the make-up girls for putting together this great show. It's the "Love That Keeps Us Together" year after year.
RITA LYONS is back for her second year performing for the Follies. Rita's artistry, her husband Chase and the crew's hard work have given us the wonderful sets this year. The Follies has been a great experience for her!
AIMEE MCLEAN is back for her third year of enjoying the singing, dancing, acting and camaraderie. This year Aimee's children Stephen, a senior at Ramapo and Jaclyn, a freshman, are helping with the show. Holly, a 1st grader at HMRS, helped Mom rehearse. Special thanks to Steve. JOY MEJIAS has a son Justin at IHHS. Joy started with the Follies last year dancing in the PTA number and had a ball! She is back again this year a part of the cast and having a great time.
PAT MEYERS enjoys meeting new friends and has fun hamming it up. Her daughter, Cheryl, attends Indian Hills HS. After appearing "Frantie Follies" at the FL United Methodist Church she is making her FLOW Follies debut joining the cast after 8 years of Follies backstage, building sets and doing the cast's make-up.
STACEY MONKS is Annette Sherman's daughter. She has been dancing since she was 2 years old and has helped choreograph FLOW Follies for the last 8 years. The show's country numbers are her favorites. "Break a leg to the entire cast." "Love and kisses" to her husband, son for all their support!
CHERI MORRIS made her debut in FLOW Follies in 1993 and hasn't stopped dancing since. Cheri has three sons: 2 attend Rutgers College and Brent is a senior at IHHS. Her favorite number is always the tap routine. Thanks to my family for their love and patience all these years. Break a leg Cast and Crew!
PAM PARMELEE is returning to FLOW Follies for her third year. Look for her as a slithering snake, a rhinestone cowgirl, a hotbox girl (her "Tippy-Tappy Debut!) and a gypsy in love.
BARBARA PIDGEON, back for her second year, thanks Rose and Amalia for keeping her feet in step. Being in the show has been a great experience! This year, her son Chris, shares the spotlight. CHRIS PIDGEON, making his FLOW Follies debut, thanks this talented group of people for their warm welcome. As a former member of Ramapo's Gold Masque, he appeared in such productions as "Inspecting Carol", "Damn Yankees", and "Fame". He hopes to continue acting and participating in the Follies and would like to thank his parents, family, the Mersons and everyone at Ramsey Outdoor for supporting him.
ANNE S. RUSSO is "thrilled" to be in her 4th FLOW Follies. When she's not tapping on stage, she's President of the Indian Hills PTSO. She is the proud mother of Sarah, a senior, and Becky, a sophomore.
JUDITH SCHAEFER has been in FLOW Follies for 5 years now. She is thrilled at the variety of acts, dances, skits and songs. Though she personally avoids the skits and only mouths the words of the songs, she loves that dancin!
SUE SEMEGRAM is having a LOVEly time in her 3rd year with Flow Follies. Sue's son, Andrew '97, and is an aspiring opera singer and Richard is a junior at Ramapo. She wishes the best of luck to the entire cast and crew. Break a Leg - but not like she did this year!
FRANK SIMON is appearing in his 9th FLOW Follies. His favorite role was Mick Jagger in "Rock and Roll Hall of Fame" (1995). He also enjoyed playing Dracula. Frank also produced the Follies show in 1994/1995. He would also like to thank the cast and crew and all the audience and supporters who help us raise scholarship funds. Come join us, its FUN!
DIANE WEINER is performing on stage for her second year after 5 years of backstage work. She helps her sister, Annette Sherman, whenever she can. Diane resides in Mahwah with her husband Larry, and their children, Samantha and Todd.
SAMANTHA WEINER has been with the FLOW Follies for 7 years as a choreographer. She's been dancing since age three and continues her dance studies locally. Sam loves doing the Follies and her favorite numbers are the country line dances. Best of luck to the cast and crew. "Thank you" to Aunt Annette for giving her the chance to be on stage! LANCE WETZEL . This is Lance's third year performing in the Follies -- WUZZ-UP with that? Lance and his wife Sue have a sophomore, Jessica at Indian Hills. His favorite number is "Love Gets Me Everytime"! Enjoy the show!
SUE WETZEL is appearing in her 5th FLOW Follies production. You will see her shaking and shimmy-ing in "Love Shack", brewing something special in "Love Potion #9", and sending all her hugs to you from "My Loving Arms". "Love Gets Me Everytime" and I hope you enjoy the show!"
AMALIA WRIGHT is enjoying her fifth year in the Follies and enjoys being a part of this wonderful group of people. Her favorite number is "I Love A Rainy Night". Amaila thanks everyone for their support and participation in the show.
PAT WULSTER has a freshman, Hayley at Ramapo High School and is making her FLOW Follies debut. Watch for her in "Cowboy Love" and Angelica in the "Rugrats" skit.
CATHY WYCK is in her 5th FLOW Follies. Cathy has a freshman daughter, Lindsey, at Ramapo. Her favorite number is still the OPENING of the Show. Each year Cathy brings her talents as a dancer, dance teacher and choreographer to Follies. In her spare time she likes to read, cook and do watercolor.
ANNETTE SHERMAN (Director) has been involved in FLOW Follies and community theatre for many years. She has had featured roles in JERRY'S GIRLS, THE KING & I, AND I CAN'T KEEP RUNNING IN PLACE to name a few. In addition, she has produced, directed, costumed and has been stage manager for many shows and most recently has directed "Don't Drink the Water" with the Oakland Community Theatre Group. When not involved in productions, she works as an electrologist in Oakland, where she resides with her husband, Lloyd and her son, Jason. Annette also enjoys breeding dogs and domestic birds She was a founding member and first president of the Real McCaw Bird Club. Her sense of humor and patience are contagious. "To my wonderful family and friends - Thank you for all your support and help. Without you, I couldn't have done it!"
MITCHELL S. MAGED (Musical Arrangements/ Accompanist) first appeared on stage at age of ten months and since then, the theater has been a part of his life. He has taken the podium as musical director for numerous musicals throughout the tri-state area. Mitchell is also the author of many musical revues. When the weather gets warmer, he coaches soccer in the Oakland town league. For the past seven years, Mitchell has been the Chairperson for North Jersey's "Walk for America", the annual walk for the American Diabetes Association. At home, he is "Dad" to Rachel and Patricia, "Honey" to Kathleen, and "Food" to Hershey, his chocolate Labrador Retriever.
